PACE has an immediate need for a site to host its facility.  Plans and funds are in place to construct the the building, but donation of a location is needed.  If you know anyone that might have available land that could potentially serve such a purpose long term, please have them contact us.  The footprint of the building will be approximately 60 feet by 225 feet.  There will be additional space requirements for a throwing field and limited parking.

The proposed facility will be more than 13,000 square feet of clear, open, heated indoor space with a complete rubberized surface including shock padding.

The proposed facility will be comprised of the following features:

  • Primary collegiate level pole vault pit and runway with the option to reconfigure for a secondary pit and runway
  • Center ceiling clearance of 24 feet
  • Long jump pit with full runway and watering capabilities
  • High jump pit and standards that can be positioned in multiple configurations throughout the facility
  • Three-lane 60 meter straightaway with run-out that can also be configured for hurdles
  • Throwing rings for shot put and discus placed indoor with implements thrown outdoor
  • Full javelin runway inside with implement thrown outdoor
  • Several large garage doors that can be opened during nicer weather for an open-air feel
  • Various miscellaneous training equipment
  • Two full bathrooms with showers
